Deloitte relaunches the Players Insights – Portugal Real Estate Survey 2023, a report that explores the major dynamics happening in the sector, in Portugal, in the first semester of 2023, as well as its expected outlook for the near future.

Discover a few highlights from the survey:

• Despite the unfavorable economic outlook, investors show a purchasing investment strategy for the next 6 months, or holding assets under management, rather than divestment;

• Players signal opportunistic investments as available projects to take advantage of in the short run;

• Insurance companies and funds of funds are believed to be the main Real Estate investors for the next semester, within the Portuguese market;

• Residential and tourism are signaled as preferential asset classes, as opposed to offices and retail;

• Over half of our participants (59%) believe the overall economic climate in Portugal to remain the same, in the near future. The majority do not see a risk of a Real Estate bubble forming in the same period.
