The international law firm of Portuguese origin, Cuatrecasas, enjoyed turnover of €388.7 million overall in 2023, despite not revealing the breakdown of its figures for Portugal, but said its consolidated growth in the country was around 30%.
Overall, across all territories, accumulated turnover was 10.2% more than in 2022, up 52.2% or €133.3 million more than 10 years ago.
Cuatrecasas is present in Portugal, Spain, and Latin America; Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru in particular; with 26 offices in 12 countries, employing teams of 1,900 employees from 29 nationalities.
In Portugal the company has 220 lawyers in offices in Lisbon and Porto. It was founded in 1928 in Portugal by Prof. Armando Gonçalves Pereira. In 2023 it merged with SLCM – Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados gaining 43 lawyers, bringing the total number of staff to 290 including partners, consultants, lawyers and other staff in the organisation.
