The 13th edition of Deloitte’s Gen Z and Millennial Survey 2024 included the participation of approximately 23,000 respondents in 44 countries to monitor their experiences and expectations at work and in society as a whole.

Gen Z and Millennials are moderately optimistic about the economy and their financial situation, but uncertainty remains

Around a third of Generation Z and Millennials believe that the economic situation in their countries will improve in the coming year, and this moderate optimism is also reflected in the outlook for their financial situation.

However, financial instability remains — three in 10 do not feel financially stable and around six in 10 live paycheck to paycheck.
